Today I finally finished my music magazine front cover, contents page and double page spread. I have finished my planning folder, and mounted it on A3 paper. 

When I return after christmas I will mount my finished products on black card.

I also finished my preliminary task of creating a school magazine front cover and creating a draft for the contents page.

Today I added the text into my double page spread. To the left is a picture of me working on Indesign. I hope to finish my double page spread and my school magazine contents page within the next 4 lessons.

I have recently finished my music magazine and my contents page. I am currently working on my double page spread. i have also completed my planning folder. All I need to do is put my data collected from my questionnaires onto graphs and put them in my folder.

In my next blog i will add a picture of my contents page.

Prelim Task

Today I completed my preliminary task of creating a school magazine. I altered the size of the font slightly, and changed the font of the sell lines. I also had to condense the pictures and text so the printer doesnt cut the edges.
Also today, I completed my questionnaire for the music magazine by using font from www.dafont.com so people have a wide choice to choose from.
Over the holidays I managed to take pictures for my magazine and create a draft for my front cover.
Next lesson i hope to be starting my music magazine!

Today, my teacher gave me a sheet of tasks i need to of completed. 

So far, i have finished:

- My mind map

-my picture sequence

-2 analysis's for a music magazine front cover

-Analysis of a double page spread

-A3 page of images i used for my school magazine

-music magazine proposal

All I need to do is mount my draft for my school magazine contents page and front cover on A3 paper. 

During the holidays, I need to create a questionnaire, plan my pictures for my music magazine, make a draft of my double page spread, and take pictures for the front cover.

Today, I worked on my School Magazine Front Cover in photoshop. I think i've nearly finished it, i've just got to do some final tweaks to it!
Next week I need to hand in my Music Magazine Proposal, stating the name of my magazine, the strapline, and the name of the band I will be taking photos of. Im not sure who I will use to take photos of, but I have an idea of the type of shots I want for the front cover and the double page spread.

I have completed my double page spread, and have started to learn how to use photoshop.
I have also drew a quick sketch of what I want my school magazine to look like, and then I went out and took some pictures which I can hopfully use.
Today, I will be doing a task on photoshop, and then editing my pictures I took last week.
The image requirement was a mid shot and a direct mode of address.

What i achieved today - 21/09/09

I successfully completed my evaluation for 'Every Picture Tells a Story'. I also managed to print it off, although I had to transfer it to Microsoft word because of problems with printing in A3 on powerpoint. I attached the pictures and the evaluation together and also attached my 2nd magazine analysis with the front cover.

I started my double page spread, but unfortunately due to time issues i couldn't complete it.

I also didn't print my mind-map, but I will be doing that before my next media lesson on Thursday. 

My First Post!

Today I analysed the 6 pictures I took for 'Every Picture Tells a Story' which i did on Microsoft powerpoint.. I also set up my blog, as you can see!

By the end of today I hope to have completed and printed off my mind- map of the different genres of music, printed off the picture analysis for 'Every Picture Tells a Story' and started (or even completed) my music magazine double page spread. 

I have already completed 2 music magazine cover analysis'.
